SOUL, ROAD AND CULTURE

Our journey through Morocco takes us through landscapes that change almost every day. We begin on the Atlantic coast, passing through cities such as Rabat, Casablanca and Marrakech, before climbing into the High Atlas and continuing through valleys, kasbahs and spectacular rock formations all the way to the dunes of the Merzouga desert. We discover the very best this incredible country has to offer and take home a unique experience that will stay with us for a lifetime.

12 dAYS - itENERARY

DAY 0 - Arrival in faro

Arrival in Faro and meet-up with all participants, followed by motorcycle handover, a welcome dinner, briefing, and final preparations for the adventure ahead.

DAY 1 - FROM ALGARVE TO AFRICA

The journey begins in Faro, heading through Andalusia to Tarifa. Crossing the Strait takes us to Tangier and, within just a few kilometres, the continent, atmosphere, and rhythm of the journey completely change.

DAY 3 - Atlantic Morocco

We ride down the coast towards Rabat and Casablanca. This is the country’s more urban side, with wide boulevards, contemporary architecture, and cities facing the Atlantic, before we begin to enter a completely different Morocco.

Day 4 - The first major change of scenery

We leave Casablanca behind and head inland. The Ouzoud Falls bring an unexpected splash of green before we arrive in Marrakech, where the pace of the journey changes completely once again.

day 4 - Marrakech

We leave the motorcycles to rest and dedicate the day to Marrakech. The medina, markets, artisan workshops, gardens, architecture, and gastronomy are all part of a city best explored on foot, with the added insight of a local guided tour.

Day 5 - Crossing the High Atlas

We leave the plains of Marrakech behind and begin our climb into the Atlas Mountains. The road, the curves, and the mountain scenery define the day as we descend into an increasingly arid landscape before reaching Ait Ben Haddou.

Day 6 - A day shaped by road and stone

We continue through one of the most scenic regions of the journey. The Valley of Roses, the winding roads of the Dades, traditional villages, and striking rock formations unfold throughout a day when the road itself becomes a central part of the experience. Along this section, the route highlights the famous Dades curves and the “Monkey Fingers” rock formations.

Day 7 - Until the Sahara comes into view

As we continue south, the landscape opens up and becomes increasingly arid. The day ends in Merzouga, facing the dunes of the Sahara, with time to enjoy the late afternoon and watch the sunset over the desert.

Day 8 - Today, we stay in the desert

A day with no need to cover any set distance. There’s time to explore the region, enjoy activities in the dunes, or simply relax and make the most of a well-earned break after several consecutive days on the road.

Day 9 - From the sand back to the mountains
We leave the dunes behind and head north once again. Throughout the day, the desert gradually gives way to high plateaus, while the mountains slowly return to the horizon.
Day 10 - From the road to the medina

We continue towards Fez. After several days dominated by vast landscapes and open spaces, we arrive in one of Morocco’s oldest and most captivating cities, with time to explore its historic medina.

Day 11 - From ochre to blue

We head north and experience one final dramatic change of scenery in Chefchaouen. The blue façades and the Rif Mountains create a striking contrast with almost everything we have seen over the previous days.

Day 12 - ACrossing the Strait back

We return to Tarifa and continue through Andalusia to Faro. We finish where we started, after twelve days in which hardly any two consecutive days offered the same landscape.
