9 Days on the Open Road
A great two-wheeled journey along Portugal’s most iconic roads. From the schist villages of Serra da Lousã to the heart of the Douro, passing through Gerês, Serra da Estrela, the deep Alentejo, and the Atlantic coast. A complete itinerary that crosses the country from north to south, amidst nature, culture, and roads designed for those who live for freedom on a motorcycle.

9 DAYS - ROAD BOOK
DAY 1 - LISBON - COIMBRA
- Passing through Pampilhosa da Serra and Serra da Lousã with its Schist Villages, it will be another day of scenic roads and very characteristic places.
- Approx. 285km
DAY 2 - COIMBRA - BRAGA
- We'll go to Braga, with lunch in Porto, to start our exploration of the roads in the Peneda Gerês Natural Park, with a brief passage through Spain.
- Approx. 230km
DAY 3 - BRAGA - RÉGUA
- We leave Braga via the N103 to explore the beauties of Trás os Montes and the Peneda Gerês National Park.

DAY 4 - RÉGUA - GUARDA
- We follow our route along the N222 and the landscapes of the Douro Wine Region banks to Vila Nova de Foz Coa, continuing through the Historic Villages to Guarda.

DAY 5 - GUARDA - COVILHÃ
- We'll travel through the Serra da Estrela and its scenic landscapes and roads from end to end.

DAY 6 - COVILHÃ - CASTELO BRANCO
- The inland villages of Portugal, such as Monsanto, the setting for Game of Thrones, will be visited on day 7.

DAY 7 - CASTELO BRANCO - ÉVORA
- We'll travel through the Alentejo landscapes, passing through Marvão, to understand the versatility of Portugal.

DAY 8 - ÉVORA - BEJA
- We leave Évora heading towards Alqueva via Reguengos and Mourão, ending in another Alentejo district capital.

DAY 9 - BEJA - LISBON
- We'll continue towards the West Coast of the country, passing through Porto Covo and heading north through the Serra da Arrábida.
