What are the requirements for renting a motorbike?

You must have:

  • Over 19 years of age.
  • A valid driving license suitable for the motorcycle's displacement, held for at least one year.
  • A valid identification document (Citizen Card or Passport).
  • A credit card for a deposit (mandatory).
How can I make a reservation?

Can I pick up and drop off the motorbike at different locations?

Yes, as long as it is at a Europcar Bikes station. There may be additional costs associated, which are indicated at the time of booking.

  • 1 helmet (approved model).

Can I travel outside of Portugal with the motorbike?

In some cases, yes. It depends on the model and destination.

You should state this intention in the reservation request so we can validate the authorization and coverage.

How does the deposit work?

At the time of pick-up, an amount will be blocked on your credit card as a deposit. This amount is unblocked at the end of the rental, after checking the motorbike.

Are there insurance options or deductible reduction?

Are the motorbikes delivered with fuel?

Yes, we deliver the motorbike with a full tank and ask that you return it in the same condition. Otherwise, a refueling fee will be applied.

How do I use highways?

All eligible vehicles are equipped with Via Verde devices, which means you do not have to stop to pay tolls. The tolls will be charged later to the credit card used for the deposit.

What if I have questions during the trip?
